Michelle Freiberg, McKesson
Michelle Freiberg is Director of Talent Assessment at McKesson Corporation. In this role, she leads strategy and delivers enterprise solutions for employee engagement, performance management, and talent assessment. Since joining McKesson in 2009, she has led and participated in talent management initiatives to drive a high-performing workforce across the organization. Most recently, Michelle led the redesign of McKesson’s talent review process, which enabled leaders to gain fresh perspectives and drive actionable insights for talent movement and development.

Headquartered in San Francisco, McKesson delivers vital medicines, medical supplies and health care information technology solutions that touch the lives of patients in every health care setting.
Michelle previously worked as a senior talent consultant for Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), where she led client projects to design and implement Talent Management, Leadership, and Organizational Effectiveness practices and programs. At Hewitt, Michelle directed the global Top Companies for Leaders research study on leadership best practices in top performing companies. She has published several research studies and articles on building leadership depth.
Michelle earned a Bachelor’s in History and Psychology from the University of Rochester, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her MBA from the University of Maryland. Michelle lives in the Atlanta area, where she and her husband do their best to keep up with their preschool son.
